Established in August 2000, as a specialist advisory firm to the recruitment industry, Northbridge continues to focus on the professional services sector with particular emphasis on acquisitions, mergers and divestments.

Founding principal, Ron Bowler, gained extensive experience in the IT, professional services and recruitment industries with Lend Lease, Paxus and Icon. As General Manager of Business Development at Icon, he was responsible for branch startups in Canberra, Auckland, Singapore and Hong Kong and resource centres in London, Manila and Bangalore. He was also responsible for managing the acquisition and integration of Icon businesses in Sydney, Brisbane and Wellington.

This practical, hands on acquisition experience ultimately led to the formation of Northbridge Consulting.
